They say that every Rolex tells a story , this one certainly does.

Iconic Big crown 5510 Rolex submariner Made famous by James Bond 007 in some of his early movies, This watch has the most amazing history, having spent 48 years with its original owner, Mick Fellows MBE, DSC, BEM* M.I. EXp.E. MSM. Mick purchased the watch on the 14th May 1959 in Sembawang village Singapore, when he was a young Royal Navy clearance diver. It took Mick six months to save up the $245.80 cents to buy the watch. It played an important role in the Royal Navy as Micks constant companion. Mick carried on through the ranks and became the first none commisioned Officer to receive the DSC. for his leading role in bomb disposal activities during the Falklands campaign. Mick subsequently went to Buckingham palace to recieve the BEM, the very last BEM to be awarded for Galantry. Mick also led the rescue attempts for the tragic Herald Of Free Enterprise disaster, after she had sank in the English Channel.
Mick now runs a private enterprise and still leads the field as the Worlds leading authority on bomb and ordnance disposal.
